I have spoken at universities in England, Taiwan and the United States, and to groups ranging from The Daughters of the American Revolution to engineering societies. In addition to telling stories of women, famous and infamous, I lecture on writing women’s lives, on being an independent historian and on the problems of writing biography without sources.
